Taste of the Town
Party on! We're mixing it up this year for a throwback totally '80s Taste of the Town! Everything old is new again.
New theme! Don't wig out, but it's '80s night at the library. Everything from the music to the color scheme is going to be, like, so major! We're encouraging (but not requiring) our guests to rock their favorite '80s fashions.
New band! No duh. Of course we had to get the best '80s band in the area. Dance to the tunes from the award-winning The New Romance!
New venue! We're moving to Cockeysville Branch and taking advantage of (and drawing inspiration from) their totally tubular neon lights.
New restaurants! Along with some returning favorites, we'll have new eateries joining our awesome assortment of local restaurants and Baltimore County breweries. Where's the beef? It's right here.
What isn't changing is the great cause we're partying for! All proceeds support the Foundation's mission to provide additional resources to enrich the library’s commitment to empower the citizens of Baltimore County to explore, learn, create and connect.
Last year, over 300 guests sampled food and drink from local restaurants, caterers, wineries and breweries, enjoyed live music, played games and bid on an exciting and eclectic assortment of items in a silent auction worth over $16,000. We hope you'll join us for a wicked cool night of fun at the Cockeysville Branch on Saturday, April 27.
