Programs

With your help, the Foundation for Baltimore County Public Library is able to support important early childhood literacy programs like the Read Rover bookmobiles, Summer Reading Club and both Storyville early learning centers, as well as BC Reads and many other vital programs in Baltimore County.

The Foundation provides the necessary funding for maintaining the infrastructure and learning resources of the two Storyville locations at BCPL’s Rosedale and Woodlawn branches. With over 116,000 adults and children annually visiting these interactive early-literacy learning centers, ongoing upkeep and maintenance is essential to keep these assets fresh and vibrant. The Foundation also plays an integral role in supporting the Summer Reading Club. In Fiscal Year 2014 alone, we were able to reach over 57,000 students from birth to 13 years of age and provide the resources necessary to make these programs a success thanks to the kindness of our corporate partnerships and individual donors like yourself.
