Donor Events

Besides Taste of the Town and A Toast Among Ghosts, the Foundation hosts a number of other events throughout the year, especially for The All In Crowd members. There's our annual stakeholders meetings, an annual donor appreciation event, tours, dinners and exclusive access to bestselling authors.

Author Events

B Connected and B Fearless members of The All In Crowd ($500 and up) were invited join the Foundation for an exclusive cocktail reception with New York Times bestselling author Elin Hilderbrand on Saturday, October 12, 2019. Elin is a graduate of Johns Hopkins University, and has written 21 novels such as The Perfect Couple, Summer of ’69 and Winter in Paradise. The New York Post called her “the queen of summer beach read.”

Guests enjoyed a signature cocktail or a glass of wine, light hors d’oeuvres and mingled with a bestselling author. Guests also received a copy of her latest book, What Happens in Paradise.

In December of 2014, the Foundation hosted an exclusive donor meet and greet with Carine McCandless, the author of The Wild Truth, the story behind Into the Wild. After the meet and greet, Ms. McCandless read from her book, participated in a Q&A and signed books.
