Support the Foundation

The Foundation’s support of the library is made possible by contributions by individuals, businesses and other foundations. Baltimore County Public Library plays a vital role in the community with 19 branches, circulation exceeding 10 million items and providing computer access to nearly 1.1 million people. BCPL serves annually 5 million visitors to its branches and 5.5 million visitors to its website.
At Foundation for Baltimore County Public Library, we revel in our success stories. And the main characters in these stories are our customers – your friends and neighbors. Maybe it’s a child embracing the love of reading for the first time after working with a “reading buddy,” a teen who discovers an aptitude for computer coding or an adult who gets a job with the help of a computer class she attended in one of our branches. Simply, we can only write these success stories with the help of your tax-deductible contribution!
