THE ALL IN CROWD - Employee Portal

The All In Crowd Masthead

Employee support is one of the many ways the Foundation is able to fund innovative programs and projects all over the system. In Fiscal Year 2021, Foundation for Baltimore County Public Library gave the library $247,150. These funds supported full funding of the Mobile Library Law Center vehicle, full funding of the Social Worker in the Library program, full funding of The Preservation Station (Reisterstown’s Center of Excellence), Summer Reading Challenge sponsorship and microgrants for Rosedale and Randallstown branches. The Foundation also supports maintenance and upkeep at both Storyville locations.

Employee giving accounts for almost $10,000 annually — just over $8,000 of that just from payroll deductions alone. And that's with only about 10% of our total employees participating! Imagine how much we could do with even more internal support.

Becoming a member is as easy as signing up for a payroll deduction for as little as $2 per pay period, or making a one-time gift at the level of your choice.

Check out the levels below and see what you get in return for your support.

How do I join?

There are several options for joining The All In Crowd:

  • ANNUAL GIFT: You can make a one-time gift using our secure online membership form.
  • RECURRING GIFT: You can use our online giving form to set up a giving schedule that works for you and debits automatically. Want to make a monthly gift? Semi-annual? You choose what suits you best. If you set up a recurring gift, you will be credited with the level of your total annual gift effective immediately.
  • PAYROLL DEDUCTION: You can choose to donate to the Foundation using a Foundation Payroll Deduction Authorization form, found on the B Drive. The form must be completed and turned in to M&D. You decide when the deductions begin (next paycheck or first payroll in January) and the amount of your biweekly deduction. There is a $2 biweekly minimum to join the employee All In Crowd. If you sign up for payroll deductions, you will be credited with the level of your total annual gift effective immediately.

Q: How will my gift be recognized?
Everyone who joins The All In Crowd, except those who elect to give anonymously, will receive special acknowledgement in the Foundation’s Annual Report.

Q: If I already give through payroll deduction, am I automatically a member?
A: Yes, if you give $2 or more, you are automatically a member at the level of your total annual gift.

Q: If I currently give $1 through payroll deduction, but I'd like to become a member, what do I do?
A: You have to fill out a new Foundation Payroll Deduction Authorization with the amount you'd like to give per paycheck. Send the completed form to M&D, who will mark your record then forward it to Fiscal Services.

Q: What's the benefit of giving through payroll deduction?
A: It's painless and convenient! And you'll never miss it. It's automatically deducted from each paycheck, which spreads your gift out over the course of the year, and you never have to remember to renew. You can end at any time by simply letting Fiscal Services know in writing.

Q: What if I don't want to give through payroll deduction but I still want to become a member?
A: You can make a one-time gift or a recurring gift through our website, or by sending a check made out to the Foundation directly to M&D.
